Public Meeting Notice

It is the public policy of this state that meetings of public bodies be conducted openly and that notices and agendas be provided for such meetings which contain such information as is reasonably necessary to inform the public of the matters to be discussed or decided. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 34-431.02, all public bodies are required to maintain a Notice of Public Meeting section on their website. All public meeting notices of the Arizona Commission on the Arts can be found at https://publicmeetings.az.gov/ and a link will be posted within the calendar entry below.

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits the Arizona Commission on the Arts from discrimination on the basis of disability. Creative Aging Workshop

Join the Arizona Commission on the Arts and Flagstaff Arts Council to learn more about Creative Aging, an exciting national movement to advance understanding of the vital relationship between creative expression and healthy aging. Guest artist Elizabeth Johnson will provide an interactive exploration of the different approaches used across the continuum of care, and the brain/body research which shows that older adults who are engaged in the arts experience better overall health, enjoy a higher quality of life, and are more active in their communities.
