The calendar below features upcoming Arts Commission deadlines, events, information sessions and workshop opportunities. Times, dates and event details may be subject to change. For more information, please email info@azarts.gov.
The Arizona Commission on the Arts has published guidelines for Fiscal Year 2019 Community Investment Grants (CIG) and Festival Grants. We encourage prospective applicants to review these guidelines thoroughly and begin preparing application responses and materials as soon as possible.
To further help potential applicants prepare successful applications, we are presenting online information sessions for both Community Investment Grants and Festival Grants. These online information sessions will walk potential applicants through the grant application guidelines, including eligibility requirements, funding restrictions, and application process. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Recordings of each session will be available for viewing on this page the following day.

Join the Arizona Commission on the Arts on Saturday, September 29, for a live-streamed web-conference on their newly renovated Research & Development Grant program.
R&D Grants provide up to $5,000 in funding support to Arizona artists as they work to advance their artistic practice, expand their creative horizons, and deepen the impact of their work.
2019 R&D Grant guidelines featuring full eligibility and application requirements are now available at https://azarts.gov/grant/artist-research-and-development/.
As the application and review process for R&D Grants have changed significantly this year, the Arts Commission invites artists of all experience levels and disciplines to participate in a statewide interactive conversation with Arts Commission staff and past grantees on crafting a successful R&D Grant application!
