Presented in partnership with VSA Arizona and the Sedona International Film Festival, the Arts Commission is offering two workshops on ADA compliance with Eileen Bagnall, Executive Director of VSA Arizona and ADA policy expert.
Two sessions will be offered:
11:00am – ADA Compliance: Know the Basics
An introduction to the basic concepts, principles and considerations of ADA compliance, ideal for individuals new to the field.
1:30pm – Beyond Compliance: Advancing ADA Practices
A more advanced exploration of best practices and next steps to move your organization to the next level of inclusivity. This session builds on the previous session, but may be attended on its own by those already familiar with the basics.
Each session is $6.00, or attend both for only $10.00.

- Arts Learning Collaboration Grants enhance the work of arts educators, classroom teachers and school-based arts programs through collaborative projects taking place in-school (during regular school hours), after-school, or during summer/inter-session and in-services.
- Lifelong Arts Engagement Grants enhance the work of community and social service organizations/ governmental entities through partnership projects with professional teaching artists and/or arts organizations.
Grant guidelines for both Arts Learning Collaboration Grants and Lifelong Arts Engagement Grants are available for review now. The application period for Cycle A will open the first week of April, 2016.
