The Arizona Commission on the Arts has published guidelines for Fiscal Year 2019 Community Investment Grants (CIG) and Festival Grants. We encourage prospective applicants to review these guidelines thoroughly and begin preparing application responses and materials as soon as possible.

To further help potential applicants prepare successful applications, we are presenting online information sessions for both Community Investment Grants and Festival Grants. These online information sessions will walk potential applicants through the grant application guidelines, including eligibility requirements, funding restrictions, and application process. Building on the information and insights gathered during our first tour this past December, The Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Arizona Department of Education’s Arts Advisory & Action Committee (A3C) will return to Yuma on February 28th to continue learning from and with Yuma residents.

We want to hear your insights, questions, and concerns and learn about the challenges and opportunities you see for arts education in your community’s schools. Data collected through these community conversations will be reviewed by the Arts Advisory & Action Committee’s leadership team and communicated to education and civic leaders throughout the state.

National Arts Advocacy Day

Join Americans for the Arts in Washington, D.C. for Arts Advocacy Day 2018 and the 31st Annual Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts & Public Policy. March 12-13, 2018.

Arts Advocacy Day brings together a broad cross section of America’s cultural and civic organizations along with more than 700 arts advocates from across the country to experience one day of intensive advocacy training from the experts followed by a full day of meetings on Capitol Hill with members of Congress.
