We received an alert from the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits today regarding the revocation of many Arizona Nonprofits’ tax-exampt statuses. Read on for more information, and check the list to verify that your organization does not need to take immediate action.

The IRS has released the names of the 4,025 Arizona nonprofits that have had their tax-exempt status automatically revoked. If your nonprofit is on the list, you must take action today!The IRS has announced a special procedure for eligible small nonprofits to be reinstated. The National Council of Nonprofits, our national partner, also has many resources available to assist nonprofits that are on this list.
