Are you an active teacher or professional artist who frequently works with communities and schools to engage individuals in learning about the arts? If so, then apply to the Teaching Artist Roster, a directory of Arizona teaching artists that represents a variety of diverse artistic disciplines.

The purpose of the Roster is to provide a quality resource for Arizona schools and communities seeking to engage a teaching artist, by identifying and promoting artists who maintain active careers as teaching and professional artists, and have particular expertise in collaborating with communities and schools to deliver arts-based learning programs. In addition, the Teaching Artist Roster aims to support high-quality Arizona teaching artists through resources, networking and professional development.

Applicants are approved for listing on the Teaching Artist Roster after completing a rigorous application and review process led by a panel of artists, educators, presenters and citizens of Arizona.

Application to the Teaching Artist Roster requires submission of an Intent to Apply. The deadline to submit the online Intent to Apply Form is 11:59pm on Thursday, August 29, 2013. Complete the form here.
