The Rancho Linda Vista Arts Community invites visual artists to apply for its one-month Summer Artist Residency Award. We welcome serious emerging artists from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
The Summer Artist Residency Award offers a unique opportunity to create a body of work in an exquisite desert setting, among a community of creative peers. A furnished one-bedroom house, separate studio, and $1,000 stipend are included, as well as access to our swimming pool, library, and other shared spaces. There are also over 100 wilderness acres to explore and occasional cultural events to enjoy. The artist selected will have the option of choosing either the month of July or August of this year for their residency. Artists provide their own tools and materials, necessities, and means of transportation. At the conclusion of their stay, they are invited to share their work in an open studio exhibit.
