On August 4, 2015, A Small Story about the Sky, a new collection of poems by Arizona Poet Laureate Alberto Álvaro Ríos, was published by Copper Canyon Press.
Reviewing the book for the Witchita Eagle, Arlice Davenport praised the collection, and in particular expressed appreciation for the way Ríos’ poetry “reveals grand possibilities for living above the mundane, for not settling for the commonplace.”
Since the publication, Ríos has been interviewed by the Arizona Daily Sun and on KJZZ’s Here & Now.
