The Verde River Mural Project is a multi-media, multi-generational depiction of the Verde River, comprised of 50 one square foot canvases which can be displayed as a 10′ x 5′ collage or in any configuration with the intent for it to be a traveling display. Artists include Camp Verde High School, professional artists, hobbyists, novices, and The Bugle newspaper photo journalist. Media include fabric, beads, clay, wood, glass, acrylic, photographs, pastels, aluminum, and watercolor. The mural is currently displayed in the Camp Verde Community Library at 130 Black Bridge Road, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. Sponsored by APS, ACE Hardware, Wingfield Plaza, Town of Camp Verde.
