These two new large 36″ X 48″ oil paintings depict my love of the desert and the skies we enjoy in Arizona on a daily basis. On the right is “Towards the Sky”, left is “Skyward”. Both on premium gallery wrapped canvas. I am a Veteran of the Iraq war and also inspired by the desolate landscapes in the Middle East.

Using found objects I create a world that is beautiful and alien. The artifacts become the focus of my work as I apply them to their surroundings. Painting for me is an exploration of time, perspective and light which allows me to enter into a space of my own creation. I enjoy these places as if I were visiting in person and it is my hope the viewer also feels this.

These works are scheduled to show in *gallery, April, 2017, on N. Central Ave. I am currently on display in four venues. ASU Downtown Community Art Exhibit, Stacy’s at Melrose, Grinder’s Coffee Co and The Icehouse Gallery. I am a member of Local First Arizona and the Sonoran Arts League.
