Silver Fox is Drawn to the Desert

I’ve lived in Ajo Arizona for a little over a month now, and I’ve been asking myself, “Why here?” I believe I was drawn to this region of the country to heal. Must like the atmosphere, it’s time for me to dry out. Being from Portland Oregon, the rain resonated in tears. Lots of tears. My father recently passed, and I’ve been overcome with loss and grief. Tears allow for blurred vision. I need to see clearly to make sense out of the this past year. Open, wide eyes need to see. The desert has dried my tears. Only now, can I see a crisp path of my next journey and my father’s. I guess I was drawn to the desert.
