“Dancing Boys” captures the spirit and camaraderie of cousins and friends dancing together during a traditional Sunrise Ceremony on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. This traditional sacred ceremony celebrates the transition of a young girl into womanhood, and is very much an extended family affair. I loved the natural way they all moved together in this ancient rhythm.
