Our new artist-to-artist professional development program AZ ArtWorker was featured on 8 Arizona PBS’ Arizona Horizon on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. The Arts Commission’s Artist Programs Coordinator was joined by Douglas, AZ artist M. Jenea Sanchez to discuss AZ ArtWorker events to be held in the border community on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11.
On Wednesday, October 7, Hernandez appeared on Here & Now on KJZZ 91.5 in Phoenix. She was joined by artist Ana Teresa Fernández, who is currently engaged in a statewide residency with ASU Performance in the Borderlands. As part of her residency, Fernández will be participating in AZ ArtWorker programming this weekend in Douglas, including an artist workshop.
