Artist Biography

Kim Porter is a writer/performer who coaches solo performers and storytellers. Porter has performed her stories around the valley at venues as small as the 49 seat Space 55 Theater and as large as the 800 seat Virginia G. Piper theatre. In 2015 she was named Best Storyteller by Phoenix New Times. Porter is an award-winning playwright whose critically acclaimed plays have been produced in San Diego, Los Angeles, New York and Phoenix. Porter is passionate about facilitating the development of new work from both established and emerging writer/performers.
