Ann Wilkinson

Artist Biography

Ann began her professional career in the entertainment field as an actress, eventually moving behind the camera as co-owner of an independent Los Angeles casting company. Wilkinson and her business partner cast between 125-150 commercial, television and film projects each year, in addition to teaching highly regarded commercial audition workshops.  In 2001, Wilkinson segued into a full time faculty position with the theatre department of Central College, a small liberal arts college in Iowa, where she remained until accepting her current position with AWC. Wilkinson is much honored to have recently been named the Yuma Art Center’s inaugural Theater Fellow.  Ann remains active in the film community and currently serves on the Arizona-Utah Board of SAG/AFTRA.
