The use of the technique of cartonería in Mexico has endured for more than a century and is considered a popular art. From this tradition arise the famous alebrijes, brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures, due to the richness of the technique and its artistic possibilities. Angel Luzanilla Beltrán will offer a painting workshop on recycled paper objects where he will demonstrate these artistic techniques. Don’t miss it!
