The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) announces the open call for applications for the 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA): National Arts Partners grant. The grant is created in collaboration with and supported by the Wallace Foundation’s Advancing Well-Being in the Arts initiative, which supports and seeks to learn more about arts organizations founded by, with, and for communities of color.

“We are deeply honored to collaborate with the Wallace Foundation for the launch of this funding opportunity. As Latinx/é arts organizations across the nation face unprecedented challenges and uncertainty, our commitment remains steadfast and strong in supporting the Latinx/é arts and culture field,” said NALAC Director of Programs Cat Rodríguez. “The fund aims to provide significant and meaningful support to Latinx/é arts organizations at a time where it is needed most.”

The funding opportunity is part of the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) grant program, which supports Latinx/é artists, cultural workers, and arts organizations in the United States and Puerto Rico through a variety of grant categories and program offerings. NALAC expects to grant a total of $525,000 across the United States and Puerto Rico through 21 unrestricted, non-matching organizational grants of $25,000 each to support small arts organizations with an annual budget of less than $500,000.

Now entering its 17th cycle, the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) has been the only national grant program of its kind, exclusively supporting Latinx/é artists, cultural practitioners, and arts organizations based in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. To date, NALAC has awarded over 1,300 grants to the Latinx/é arts and cultures field, reflecting an investment of over $8 million in funding.

Interested applicants are encouraged to register for the 2025 NFA: National Arts Partners funding opportunity support webinar or attend the Virtual Cafecito Office Hour. Spanish language interpretation will be available at both opportunities.

Additional applicant support resources are available on the NALAC website.

The 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA): National Arts Partners application is now open. The application closes on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CST. View the guidelines and application for the 2025 NFA: National Arts Partners grant opportunity.
