Titled Building an Artistic Future for Arizona, the Arts Commission’s strategic plan was first ratified by the Arts Commission’s Governor-appointed board on September 16, 2010 for implementation October 01, 2010. This plan was formally extended by vote of the board in 2013.
The plan represents a cohesive set of strategies to advance a collective cause: stability and progress for Arizona’s arts sector. Within the plan, “Desired Outcomes” are developed as ideal results for the entire Arizona arts sector, and “Arts Commission Goals” are developed as planned objectives for the Arts Commission itself.
