Arts in Education Week exists as an opportunity to put a national spotlight on arts education, creating a forum for leaders in arts and education at the local, state, and national level to exchange perspectives, ideas, and solutions to obstacles unique to our field.
That important idea of forum and exchange of ideas is the impetus for the biennial Joint Arts Education Conference as well.
Presented every other year by the Arts Commission and the Arizona Department of Education, the Joint Arts Education Conference brings together Arizona’s arts education leaders to explore key areas and trends in education and the significant role arts educators play in the academic, social and personal success of students.
