Childsplay, Arizona’s professional theatre for young audiences has an immediate opening for a Wardrobe Supervisor/Stitcher. Duties will be split between wardrobe during stage productions and costume construction between stage runs. Candidate should be a self-starter and possess good communication skills with a solid wardrobe and costume construction background, familiarity with wigs, attention to detail, the ability to take direction and work independently as well as closely with others.
Duties include, but are not limited to running wardrobe on stage productions, run list development, quick changes, costume maintenance and cleaning, wig maintenance, supervising dressers, occasional backstage crew assistance, garment construction, alterations, craft work, stock organization, and attending rehearsals.
Position is full-time seasonal contract, with a weekly salary of $500.00 per week. This position is not eligible for health benefits.
