Arizona Broadway Theatre is accepting applications to fill an opening on our Wardrobe Run Crew.

Typical Work Schedule: Tuesday-Friday evenings usually from 5pm-11pm and Saturday/Sunday from 12pm – 5pm/11pm on weekend. Hours are determined on the number of shows per week and shows per day. There is the possibility for overtime with this position. Wardrobe is always off on Mondays.
Hourly Rate: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour depending on experience/qualifications.
General Functions: Arizona Broadway Theatre is seeking a skilled/experienced wardrobe staff member to round out our team. The qualified applicant must have strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, have generalized sewing skills and is someone who has a strong work-ethic who works well with others (i.e. other staff members, actors etc.).

Duties & Responsibilities:
 Uphold costume design at the highest artistic level utilizing the design binder.
 Assist actors in getting into costumes/wigs/makeup during call time, with assigned quick changes and supporting actor’s needs before, during and after the production.
 Clean costumes based on laundry guidelines as developed by the Wardrobe Supervisor.
 Sanitize costumes nightly according to health guidelines.
 Maintain a healthy/sanitary workspace both in the dressing rooms and the wardrobe areas.
 Generalized sewing skills to repair costumes on an as needed basis utilizing home and industrial sewing machines.
Education: Applicants must hold a B.A./B.F.A. in Theatre, Technical Theatre, Costume Design, Costume Technology, Fashion Design, Apparel Design or an equivalent degree in theatre and/or fashion industries. In lieu of and/or addition to an earned degree, applicant must have had professional wardrobe industry experience for a minimum of two (2) years.
