We are currently seeking a full time Social Media Coordinator to assist our Marketing and Divisional teams in coordinating the social media for our entire organization, including Scottsdale Arts, The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), Scottsdale Public Art, Scottsdale Arts Education and Learning, Canal Convergence, and more!

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Develops social media strategies in collaboration with the Director and Marketing Manager.
Maintains social media channels, including monitoring performing of post schedule strategies.
Collaborates within the Marketing Department to create custom graphics, video and copy content required to create content for social media.
Schedules daily posts across all Scottsdale Arts social media platforms using Sprout Social and other tools.
Monitors, tracks and reports results on weekly and monthly engagement and conversions via social media.
Researches and monitors competitive social network channels to develop campaign ideas.
In coordination with supervisors, reviews, approves and schedules submissions of social media content created by staff members within the organization. Works to develop and grow the “reporter network” within the organization to promote robust social media opportunities.
Attends assigned Scottsdale Arts events in order to document or capture content for use on social media or coordinates with staff members who may be attending to obtain content. Ensures content is fresh, engaging, and supports the organization’s marketing and event goals.
Utilizes Asana project management software to work with Marketing Team on special projects for the organization including but not limited to: event building, management and promotion integration across all digital channels.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience: 3-5 years experience in marketing with social media or coordination of marketing department emphasis

Creative, collaborative team player with ability to communicate to diverse constituents, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Displays and utilizes best practices in public relations.
Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, sound judgment, integrity and attention to detail.
Significant experience with Microsoft Office, photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.
Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Knowledge of visual and performing arts; familiarity with local and national arts media outlets.

Work Environment: Position requires regular standing, walking, ambulating up and down stairs. May need to lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and color vision. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. This position requires flexible scheduling at times including evening and weekend hours.

Other requirements: Must possess valid driver’s license and driving record that is acceptable to the organization’s insurance carrier.
