On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed into law the American Rescue Plan, an expansive $1.9 trillion stimulus package intended to deliver federal relief throughout the nation as it enters the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to report that the package includes provisions that direct vital support to the nation’s arts sector.

Update: AZ House passes HB 2755, $5 million arts sector investment
On Wednesday, February 24, the Arizona House of Representatives passed House Bill 2755 with strong bipartisan support. This bill calls for a $5,000,000 appropriation to the Arizona Commission on the Arts for Fiscal Year 2022, supporting statewide arts sector investments at a time when the need has never been greater.

Shuttered Venue Operators Grant | US Small Business Administration
Eligible applicants may qualify for SVO Grants equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with the maximum amount available for a single grant award of $10 million. $2 billion is reserved for eligible applications with up to 50 full-time employees.
