West Valley Arts is seeking to expand our Creative Aging Teaching Roster! We are currently hiring certified Creative Aging artists. While our Creative Aging programs are typically conducted in person and off-site, beginning in June, we will offer an online learning experience in order to support older adults in isolated and at-risk communities across the West Valley.
This program is designed for Certified Creative Aging instructors who would like to support and deliver engaging community programming for adults 55+, with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s or Dementia in the West Valley. Our goal is to expand to Creative Aging efforts across the West Valley virtually and in person (if permissible). We are seeking a balance of art forms, gender, and approach. Visual arts, dance and music and more is welcome!
Due to physical distancing, lessons will have to be pre-recorded or conducted via Zoom Live. This may be filmed by you or by WVAC in our Arts HQ Gallery. Courses will be 4-6 weeks long conducted once a week. Each lesson should be between 50 minutes-90 minutes long.
