The 2018 Southwest MicroLiving event will showcase the latest trends in artistic design and architecture, and will feature up to 12 juried micro housing and garden structures on display. Each weekend will combine micro art, micro gardening, micro living and micro brews. Live music, workshops, food & beverage vendors, a micro-art raffle, and creative art activities will also take place each weekend, designed for both adults and children.
Participate in this event featuring a juried exhibition of up to 12 tiny homes and Arizona artists (juried upon entry) accompanied by a full festival every weekend featuring micro living | micro gardening | micro art | micro brews plus presentations, demonstrating artists, live music, food & business vendors, and art activities!
February 17 – March 10, 2018 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday
Each weekend of the 2018 Southwest Micro-Living event will have a specific theme:
February 17-18: Ikebana & Botanical Art (wood, fabric)
February 24-25: Succulents & Sustainability
March 3-4: Art in the Garden (garden/floral art) Plus Raised & Hanging Garden Beds
March 10-11: Bonsai, Raku & Ceramic Art
Ten 10’ x 10’ tents will be available each weekend for artists. Artists will be juried into the event upon application based on media categories. Pricing will be determined based on the number of weekends participants will be involved:
One Weekend: $60
Two Weekends: Second tent is $40 ($100 total investment)
Three Weekends: Third tent is $30 ($130 total investment)
All Four Weekends: Fourth tent is $20 ($150 total investment)
