Information Referral - The Commission provides information and referral to Arizona artists, schools and organizations with the business aspects of the arts. Technical assistance and information may include copyrights, tax problems, contracts, insurance, arts legislation, health hazards of working with art materials and other related areas. Statewide Workshops/Meetings  - Workshops and meetings are scheduled throughout the year across the State. Workshops for artists and speakers for arts organizations can be arranged in your area. For assistance, please contact us at (602) 229-8226 or cburawa@azarts.gov.

Technical Assistance - Available from staff in areas such as assistance in developing grant proposals to the Commission; public presentations on Commission programs; research in participation in the arts; referrals to consultants, arts professionals and other resources; consultations for organizations and individual artists in a wide variety of areas.

Arts Resource Center - The Arts Resource Center is a specialized reference library of books, periodicals and information on the business of the arts generally not available in a local public library, e.g. arts participation, arts learning, fundraising, marketing, contracts, taxes, copyrights, health hazards of working with art materials, insurance (medical, disability, life), arts legislation and related areas. Books and periodicals are not available for checkout, but may be viewed during regular business hours.

Other services available through the Arts Resource Center include:

• Samples of successful grants funded by the Commission

• Limited copy and fax services

• Computer with Internet access

• Mailing lists/labels available for a nominal fee
