Linda MillerCommunity Theatre is an amazing and valuable part of our country’s cultural landscape.

There are over 7,000 known community theatres of all sizes and budgets across the U.S., and each one represents so much more than just a random group of people getting together to put on a show.

Each theatre represents friends and neighbors working together to enhance life in their community, create entertainment, provide education, build empathy, and support the local economy by circulating dollars back into neighborhood businesses.

Each theatre represents 7,000 empty spaces across the nation filling with people of all ages, physical abilities, ethnicities and occupations.

Each theatre, regardless of size or budget, represents individuals interacting as participants, donors and audience members; sharing an emotion, and idea, a laugh, an experience….face-to-face. Together.
