The California Arts Council is seeking candidates for the position of Information Officer I (Specialist). As a member of the California Arts Council’s Public Affairs team, under the direction of the Information Officer II, the Information Officer I (Specialist) performs complex public affairs, press, and marketing activities in order to educate the public about the programs, goals, and mission of the California Arts Council and in order to successfully develop, administer, and promote key special initiatives.

This is a California state civil service job. Only those candidates who qualify based on the Information Officer I (Specialist) exam are eligible to apply for this position.
