The City of Glendale is seeking information on the viability of converting a city-owned property into a public Arts Incubator Space in downtown Glendale. The city is asking qualified respondents to provide feedback on this concept to assist the city in the planning and development of a formal concept and to understand any building improvements that may be required in order to make this a successful endeavor.

The conceptual project would transform a 7,000-square foot facility into a dynamic and active space to create an ever-changing arts and culture hub in downtown Glendale. The overarching goal would be to create a welcoming space for the community to experience the arts and to engage and interact with artists.

The City intends to review the RFI responses to determine the viability of completing the necessary building improvements in order to move forward with the Arts Incubator Space project. If the project moves forward, the City would seek an independent organization to manage and operate the facility. This would be accomplished through the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP).
